Inspired By Aztec

The Aztecs were exceptional at depicting realistic images, but often translated the animal forms into geometric symmetrical patterns. This sculpture was influenced by stylized glyphs of the culture that mastered the art of seamless blending of precise geometry with organic representation of the natural world. Angular form of petals, triangles at the center — sincere attempt to express my admiration.
