Shadow Box

The shape of a rose is deliberately unfinished, creating almost magical effect by combining the shape of the wire with ephemeral lines of the shadow, completing the image of the full-bodied flower. The ever-changing play of the shadows , evolving with the passing of time, makes the viewing a unique experience as the rose changes each and every moment with the change of the light or point of view, providing stimuli not only for the vision, but also for the brain, allowing it to complete the picture for itself.

Wooden block of the base provides light background for the shadows to be displayed, while pyrography on the sides is harmonized with the darkness of the umbra.
